Published in October 2017 by Blackneck Books, an imprint of TibetWrites, “Burning the Sun’s Braids: New Poetry from Tibet”, is a selection of poetry from Tibet translated into English by Bhuchung D. Sonam.
The bilingual volume contains pieces by contemporary Tibetan poets (the late) Khawa Nyingchak, Chen Metak and Dhi Lhaden. There is a foreword by Tibetan poet and writer Tsering Wangmo Dhompa and an Afterword by Tibetan activist and writer Tenzin Dorjee (Tendor).
